The ProTech 7035-SL is ideal for multi-family housing or any residence where a secure, low maintenance carbon monoxide detector is desired. The factory pre-installed long-life battery is locked behind a door secured with a tamper-resistant screw. The mounting plate is fastened to the wall with two standard screws, and the carbon monoxide detector is then secured to the mounting plate with one more screw. A pull-out tab activates the battery. Easy to install, the ProTech 7035-SL offers the security of a hardwire installation without the expense of an electrician.

For reliable protection, carbon monoxide levels are measured and recorded every 2 minutes by a state-of-the-art, highly sensitive electrochemical sensor. When an alarm threshold is reached, the carbon monoxide level detected is automatically displayed between 40 to 500 ppm on the LCD screen. The current and highest CO level detected between 10 to 500 ppm can be manually displayed by pressing the test/reset button.

An internal clock monitors the sensor life, and activates a visual and audible expiration signal at five years. The Lithium battery included is guaranteed to last the life of the ProTech carbon monoxide detector. You no longer have to replace batteries every year or after every power outage.

The ProTech 7035-SL Carbon Monoxide Detector is engineered and manufactured under an ISO 9001 Quality Management System for improved product quality and reliability. NOTE: Underwriters Laboratories has tested the ProTech carbon monoxide detectors at 30, 70, 150 and 400ppm. To assure that an alarm will be activated at or below 70ppm within 1-4 hours, but not false alarm below 30ppm, this detector may alarm as low as 40 ppm.
